OT - Free Chest Freezer

I have a 6 foot long chest freezer, free to the first person who comes and gets it. I ran out of room in the garage (wife's birds) and its been outside under cover for a week until now. Its about 5 years old, never had a problem with it.
I'm in Lavergne, pickup can occur anytime.

PM if interested.

You keep your birds in the garage??? Beautiful pair of macaws on your avitar!! The one on my avitar is my baby!!!

Wish I had a truck and I would grab it up! My tiny 2x2 square frezzer just doesn't hold enouph especially a sams club run! I cook 7 days a week and use a freezer a ton. Gotta have lots of healthy foods on hand for the kids... corn dogs, dinosure nuggets, frozen pizza...

Thank you
well.. the "garage" is "finnished" and heated/cooled. My sumps/equipment are out there as well.

My avatar is our Caninde's, they are a young bonded (somewhat) pair. Gotta 19/20 yr old pair of b&g's and a pair of yc amazons. 10' cages will use up a garage fast...lol

danieljames - just let me know.

Those blue throated are less noisy then the b&g....I do hope your neighbors are far enough away from your house...lol....I used to raise birds and YES they take up space FAST.....Do you guys raise them?? I would love to come over to take a look at'em sometime!!! Those b&g ever give you guys any babies?? I wouldn't mind to give my guy a play mate if you ever get any babies. I'm specialized in handfeeding so I am able to handrear it myself.

Yes we raise,
Well... they say Blue throats (i see you knew what they were!) are less noisy but I dont know, these guys (Stella & Hammy) are young (little more than a yr) and always into something. Toys (large toys) dont last 2 days with them. They break the chains or unscrew the clasp bringing it down then they both hold an end and distroy it.
My blue and golds (Lilo & Stitch) are really quiet unless you are near their nestbox. They normaly sound like either sheep baaaaing or a pair of turkeys. The male (stitch) will let out a continous ear peircing scream like something is really wrong but if you look at him or point at him he'll stop but thats when you get near their box. The male is also huge. He is at least 36", people would used to call him a Bolivian b&g but thats a (rightly) disputed name since there isnt a way to tell where they come from.

Lilo and Stitch, so far, I know 2 of the 4 eggs are fertile. As you know selling unweaned is a hot topic but i am like you, I want to bond with the bird which is extremly important so yes, we can work something out.

Super cool birds!! You want a hamster for your kids to go with that bird??! I am over the hamster :(.

LOL.... well we got a Great Dane (inside dog), 4 cats (3 inside), 20 or so birds (including the Gouldian finches) and fish (salt and fresh). My wife draws the line on rodents...lol

Danes are such sweet lap dogs:).

Yea....lol
Thats what they think!

Other than her size, she's really a good house dog. Not a drooler or a shedder. Just be careful about leaving your dinner in the middle of the table or on the kitchen counter!

Just wanted to let every one know that the freezer is gone.

I also realized I have never posted a pic of my tank in this forum, since I posted birds I figured I'd post my reef too.

I decided to get back into reefing in Jan of 05. I promised myself that no matter how long it took I would have EVERYTHING before any salt went into the system. That meant test kits and all. So I saved my pennies and bought things one at a time... yes it was painful having an empty tank setting there for so long!
It wasn't until late aug 05 that I ordered my rock (direct from Walt Smith). 1st batch was 88kg of "Fiji Natural" (excellent), 2nd batch was 88kg of Kaleani (sp?) (crappy).
I didnt add any coral or fish untill mid Dec 05.

very nice!! you need to start a thread with this pic, not many people will be expecting to see such a nice set up in a freezer thread!

Talking about destroying toys, it doesn't take long for Willie to dismantle a $50 toy within a day. I started making him toys myself because of that. His old cage had NO screws holding it together cause he took'em all out. I'm hoping with this new cage his tail feathers wouldn't ruffle up anymore. I hated his old cage cause it wasn't big enough. This new cage is nice and big for him, so far he doesn't like it...He'll get used to it eventually...I wouldn't just buy any unweaned baby and yes it's a big topic to discuss. Certain species I would not buy as unweaned, for example, African Grey! If you know what I mean.... If everything works out, I want to be there when the eggs hatch, I think they're sooooooooooo cute when they just hatched. Most people think they're ugly though...lol.... :)

Chris,

Can you please PM me your #. Or call me. I lost it. I need to return your dolly and I would like to do so today sometime around 1 or 2.

thanks
