OT: Go Lakers!

Thing is Garnett looks scared and confused. When do you see him miss wide open lane dunks? Honeslty, he looked scared. Pierce looked shook, same with Powe... Allen and Perkins were the only poised players.

The Lakers just played bad. Kobe missed FREETHROWS... We would have won by 10+ had he been perfect at the line.

I like Trevor in there... hes long and can elevate over KG to keep the ball alive for an offensive rebound.

I say we played smart.. The Lakers got everyone in foul trouble. So all in all, it was a good adjustment against a "flawless" team.

Our big men need to do more damage in the paint to help relieve our shooters once in a while.

Lakers played bad. Boston played worse. Thats the reason the Lakers won last night. Both teams looked tired. Hopefully tomorrow's game will be better

Fisher hasn't been nailing threes, good thing Sasha was able to fill up for him. Even if Gasol and Odom aren't playing their best, if they can support each other (one takes the drive and the other follows up right behind him) they would still break through Celtics paint defense.

Everyday it's a different player that makes the difference even with Kobe and the Lakers. He can't do it all. It's the coaches job to make that determination while there's still time.

I was real surprised Boston decided to just let the time run out at the end last night. I didn't see any of the post game stuff last night and wondered if that came up?

The bottom line is the Lakers need to make a statement game ...
They're playing at home and they should be beating Boston by at least 15 or something. Don't even make it close.

See what happen when Luke don't get in the game at all in the second half, we win. Go figure. Phil, please play Ariza and Turiaf more and please bench Luke for the remaining games.

Did you see the camera showing his dad sitting right on the sideline? I seriously think that Phil Jackson plays Luke because of that.

Hey, if you have your dad watching you play in the Finals and still you play like crap, I think there's really no hope for you.

As for Lamar Odom, he's just not a good basketball player. For a guy his size and with his quickness, his stats should just be way high all around. Anyone else noticed that he has major butterfinger with the basketball? Whenever he goes into the lane, he fumbles and loses the ball. It just drives me insane seeing that.

I heard old man Walton say in an interview early this year that he thought Luke still had a lot of work to do before he'd be good. Not those exact words but he surely knows how good or bad his son is.

I want they win 20+ points so I can see thunderstorms at Staple Center

It seemed at least on TV that the crowd didn't really make all that much noise last night. Maybe they were all star-struck with all of Hollywood filling the seats.

I had to rewind the DVR at the start of the game to hear the "Boston Sucks" chant to be sure that's what it was.

LO is not going anywhere

Just wait till he is the small forward, Pau is large forward, and Andrew is center.

Devastating.

If we have a breakout game tomorrow where all cylinders are firing.....look out

That reminds me of a Dodger game Barb and went to about ten years ago. We bought front row seats about 1/2 between home plate and the Dodgers' dugout. The way the people around us acted I thought we were at an opera.
Then someone spilled a drink near by and I forget what everyone said but within a minute someone was there with a mop to clean it up. Half the fun of a Dodger game is driving home in a jacket that reeks of beer and all you drank was water.

That's why we used to sit in the Pavlion seats until they stopped selling beer there....................Now we just occupy the nosebleeds w/ the rest of the Raider..............oops, I mean Dodger fans..... :D

we got most of the calls last night. ok, i'm 98% sure there will be no more conspiracy talk from me. we really do need instant replay though.

i will say one thing though- turiaf gets NO benefit of the doubt calls in these playoffs. NOT ONE.

someone please put some "creative ingredients" in paul pierce's chicken when he shows up at Roscoe's tonight.

I don't think I could stay awake long enough to watch the entire game if/when they ad replay. That'll make it more like a baseball game (without replays).

SteveU

hehe, then you won't wanna watch a game w/ me... constantly doing my own rewind/replays thru dv-r. whether it's a great play or a bad call, i'm watching it over. and over. and over again

I'm on my way to have THE MACHINE tattooed on my forehead. If he had made one more three, it would have helped me to cover the spread. But oh well, I'll take the Lakers win.

I do the same thing. Game one I used the DVR and waited about an hour before I started it so I could FF through the down time.

Best part of your own replays is when the broadcast is doing a slow motion replay and you slow that down even more. The ball is in the air for like 30 seconds during a shot.
