OT - Going Cruising.

Hey everyone, my wife and I will be taking our first cruise this Thanksgiving for 10 days in the Easter Caribbean. We have six stops and are looking for ideas on what to do, see, or buy while at each (best place to snorkel, best activity, or best drinking hole).

Here are the locations we’re stopping at:

Philipsburg, St. Martin â€"œ My boss is here now for 7 days, currently on scout.
Castries, St. Lucia â€"œ We have the Zip Line booked here already…
Bridgetown Barbados â€"œ On a Sunday (we hear a lot of things are closed on Sunday)
Fort-De-France, Martinique â€"œ Volcano?
Road Town, Tortola â€"œ
Half Moon Cay, Bahamas â€"œ


As I mentioned this is our first cruise, so if you have any other recommendations for us to do on Sea days, things to do while on the boat, or experiences you’ve had, please share. We’re excited and want this to be our best vacation ever, as it will probably be a long time coming before we’re able to do this again…

Barbados has some great shopping excursions. St. Maarten has a fantasitic dive excursion. St. Lucia - I know you have the Zip Line booked, but you may want to consider the horseback tour - it is better.

At all the islands, search for "Tortuga Rum Company" shops and go in to taste the FREE rum samples. You can usually get 6 or 7 free shots THe Banana rum is my favorite.
