Well, the Harry Potter Marathon ended w/o us seeing the last movie tonight but we're going to try to fit in in before Wednesday. We're seeing the new movie on IMAX that night...the ending there is supposed to be in 3-D! Can't wait. I just reread all the books again too. It's sad that the new book coming out in July will be the last in the series. Having worked with middle school kids for 12 years...and having taught middle school English for about 6 months...I love the fact that so many young people (as well as the almost young...Stephen King is a huge fan
spent so much time reading, exploring and reveling in the antics at Hogwarts. I applaud JK Rowling's incredibly imaginative characters, settings and plots and hope she has another outstanding series swimming around inside her head.
PS, I don't believe she is going to kill off Harry as some speculate. My own reasoning is that Harry has been a guiding force to show young people that adversity can be overcome...I just can't see her taking that away at the end. Anyone have any thoughts on this one?
