ot,have anybody figure it out how to keep elegance corals alive?

Hello Lapsan!

I would have to say yes, for the moment.
My brother has one in his tank that is really old, it was mine before. How to keep it: dirty water, lots of food, low light, low flow.
I cross my fingers that it keeps doing well.

Sounds like the type of coral that would do well in my tank.

At WMC Borneman gave some info about it. I think he said that they were being killed off by some kind of infectious disease. So when collectors get them and put them all together in a big tank, they all get infected. Same thing happens down the chain when others handle them. Borneman says his was healthy for a long time, then he took a sick one in to nurse and it killed his. For about 30 minutes he bored everyone with microscope slides of red dots . . . "Look, more red dots." So if you have a healthy one, be careful about adding another. If your getting one, buy a healthy one from another reefer.
