OT: HVAC guy in the QC

Anyone know of a HVAC, specifically A\C guy locally in the QC or better yet one in the club that does side work? My central A\C is only a couple years old, but apparently is a POS. Last fall the lines to the condesor and furnace were covered in frost and it quit working. Haven't tried it again till today, but it doesn't kick out cold air. I'm guessing something broke or leaked the refridgerant out?

Check your big fuses in the shut off box first. Usually frosting of the lines means the charge is incorrect (too much or too little). Or your coils are full of dirt. Either on the condensor or the evaporator. Try the shut off box & clean the coils & see what happens.

Nope no luck. The condenser I keep pretty clean, keep the grass and bushes off, etc. Everything seems to be functional, just no cold air.

I had a guy come out and test the system.... 89 bucks down the tube. Basically it was empty on refridgerant.... probably a leak in the system somewhere. $100 bucks to find the leak, 75 bucks or so to recharge the system, plus fixing whatever is broke.....

I just saw the post today. My husband is one and we have family around the area. Sorry I didn't see this sooner!
