OT: It's a small world

So, we were out today looking at houses... One of the ones we viewed had a very nice tank in it. Then we saw the name stowers in the house. I realized we were looking at our MTRC's VP's house! Chris, you have a beautiful house. It is on our list. Thanks for letting us view it. Good luck with your sale and new job.

Good luck selling both of you! Having our house on the market was awful with the stress of keeping it clean. We were on the market 28 days and had 17 showings. I was so tired of mopping with murphys oil for the good smell it was awful :lol: We got 2 offers the same day, one wanted the tank, the other not. We took the offer that didn't want the tank left since it was not contingent on there sell even though it was a little less since we were already building our new house.

Also the people who ended up buying just literally pulled in the driveway out looking at other homes and saw ours and called for a 0 min. notice showing!! The baby was asleep and I was so over people coming in on short notice so I stayed and said "don't wake up my baby in this room and I am just gonna sit outside while you look" A big no no for homeowners to stay and say don't even go in this room but they loved it and made an offer 2 days later after they came back for a "official" showing to look over everything good. Our house didn't pull up on realtracts for there search criteria since our realator failed to list the master as having a sitting nook and they had that typed in as a must have so make sure your listing has a very detailed run down.
I am just glad the curb appeal was enough to lure them inside to discover the sitting nook!
