OT Jailbreaking iPhone

This might sound dumb but I bought an iPhone back when they had no contract and I downgraded the firmware to 1.1.1 and then to 1.1.2 (I know that this firmware is old!!) and put a turbo sim in it, it works fine but recently my sim card fried so I got another one, I am using my blackberry now for the time being. Can anyone advise me on how to unlock an iphone? there are so many ways to do it and I'm not sure what is the best way to go? Please include detailed steps! P.S. I have the 4.6 boot loader on it

Hey Steve, I actually ended up jailbreaking it last night (or this morning lol) Thanks for the help tho

Cool. Redsnow and Ultrasnow are the big names in jailbreaking. The latest baseband isn't jailbreakable though, which is why I inquired.

I used redsnow on my iphone 2g to update to 3.1.3 So many applications so little time lol
