ot:Just scored some tom waits tickets!

found out that he will be playing jacksonville, FL (three hours from me) on july 1st. Tickets are about $100 each, but damn, its TOM WAITS! They opened up today and will be sold out before the end of the day, got row jj which is about 30 rows back I think. I watched in 1 hour the tickets available go from row j to row jj, so I am sure they will be sold out by the end of the day. Never seen tom waits before, but WOW am I excited!:nice:

Musician. Folk, blues, experimental. Very hard to pin down exactly. Pretty reclusive too and does not play live shows very often. I have seen tickets go for several thousand dollars. Probably these are the only live dates this year. He has played only about 33 shows since 1999 worldwide.

closest jacksonville. He does not get to florida. This is the first time he has played in florida in at least 10 years!
