OT: Karen (hijackers wanted)

I know a lot about hijackin' threads, but the only wildlife rescue I've done was back in the 80's when I started dating my husband

and I'm very good at OT
I gotta run to the liquor store now

It did have OT (off topic) right in the title.. No need to read it if you didnt want to. Its causing no harm

I will agree that some of them have been getting a bit carried away lately, but I will say that reading humor (attempted ? ;p) is better than reading bickering/fighting.

I care!
I care very deeply about pointless humor.
My entire existance revolves around pointless humor and drinking in front of my tanks
I feel as if my entire life has been for nothing!
Why can't people except me for my pointlessness and lack of direction
well, I do no the directions to the liquor store

I was talking with maria over at Rod's and she mentioned that she does volunteer work for wildlife and was actually going to africa this weekend and she gave me a link, couldn't remember it so I knew I could find her on here to get the link...sounds pretty awesome if you ask me....and the wildlife could use all the help they can whether it be land, sea, or air! :)
 
craftytonya, moonjelly, aka Maria left this morning. She's packed bags of clothing for the local orphanage and working on the cheetah rescue facility in Namibia till around November.
I was going to do her water changes and look after her reef, but last night she told me she didn't have time to stock on MY supplies
so I guess that's off
She lives like 4 or more blocks to the nearest liquor store, not exceptable

The thread was labeled correctly Off Topic, lots of off topic threads lately. Some more interesting than others but like Rod stated no harm done. Don't like the thread don't read it.
 
And now were talking about moon jellys tank, so we are now on topic :). Moon jelly.. Where did that name come from? I know Maria wont be able to answer for awhile, but maybe you can fill us in, Karen?
 
Well maybe she should have thought about that before she took off without buying me booze!

There is someone staying at her house, all the foods are in single serve containers for each tank, clearly marked
Top off water is ready and the sump is clearly marked when to add and when not to add more
I'm stopping by to mix water, change water and to inspect the tanks
and of course on call for any situation that may come up
 
what kind of setups do you have karen? i assume you will be dosing with vodka? lol

by the way...I like your "interests" lol too funny
