Just got back from akumal mexico....did the cenote snorkling, coral reef snorkling...caught some mahi mahi and a barracuda...tasted great! Saw some triggerfish, angelfish, etc...got trashed almost every night and snorkled every day! lol.....awesome vacation!!!!

Welcome back craftytonya. I just got back home last night from the cheetah conservation gig. Karen Lush did a great job keeping all living creatures alive while I was gone for the past month. She even left me 2 beers in the fridge. Not only are the corals thriving, many have grown quite a bit. I even have a new invasion of aptasia. Wonder where they came from? Maybe it was introduced when Karen L spilled the dirty martini into my tank when she was checking water parameters. PS You looked great in that cute pink number that you wore for Halloween.

the bluecheese in the olive of my dirty martini really made your skimmer go nuts!
I grabbed the syphon hose and tried to save the vodka ended up with a nice water change by the time I realized it was pointless
but sucking down that much salt water sure made me thirsty
I must not have seen those last 2 beers

I know where the feathers will be strategically placed but what about the turkey baster? Just thought I would mention that your olive from your martini is now cruising around my tank on the back of mr. blue tuxedo sea urchin. Now there is a bristle worm living inside the olive where the pimento used to be.

okay...so I HAVE to tell this story....so it was the last night in akumal and we were wasted...walking back from the bar towards our villa when out of nowhere 4 of my cousins jumped me and stripped me of my undergarments!!! i was trashed walking back home with only a t-shirt on....lol....fun times!
snorkling was sweet out there and I am so glad i tried the cenotes!!
