OT- KG's going to be a Celtic

I'm been following this for the last couple of days through the Minnie and Boston papers. Seems to be a 5 for 1 deal. Pretty much guarantees a trip to the Finals for the C's, if they get it done.

KG plus Kobe means title contention now. Howard plus Kobe would be nice, but might not peak in time. Although the Orlando brass was dumb enough to outbid themselves for Lewis, I don't think they'd take any of the Lakers castaways for the second coming of Moses Malone.

its a great deal for both teams, but still not a guarantee at the finals but they would be top 3 in the east and one of the best teams in the NBA, but they havent played with each other so CHEMISTRY is going to be key.

It's great for Minny, if Jefferson does reach his All-Star potential in the West and McHale wisely spends the cash he'll be freeing up.

Barring any injuries, the Celts are going to the Finals. The personalities of Boston's new Big 3 presents ZERO chemistry issues. Each has had, throughout their careers, teammates that need A LOT of shots just to be effective.

These guys compliment each other extremely well. Pierce and Allen can create their own shots from the perimeter and post, but now have the leagues best passing big man to feed them. Garnett now has legitimate offensive threats from the outside, that can open things up for him down low. Both KG and Ray will have no problem deferring to Paul in 4th quarter situations.

The Celts now have a 3 year window. One title in that span would make it worth what Ainge just gave up. The only issue really, is the Western opponent. Once they begin to gel, the Celts will be scary. Throw in PJ Brown, and they've got a body and 6 fouls that can tie up Duncan for 48 minutes.

KG + Pierce + anything close to a healthy Ray Allen, could get to the finals in the east with Karl and I rounding out the starting 5. And we would definitely ROUND it out

Hell yeah! The roundest mounds of rebound.

Maybe 5 years ago, I could've been their designated disher. Such nice options to have.

Maybe the Celtics and Lakers will own the championship finals for the next decade?!!!?

LOL....You are worst than the Kings fans.... The Lakers have about as much chance at the championship in the next few years as the Timberwolves do without Garnett...NONE
