A friend of mine that I work with may or may not be needing to find a home for a kitty. Long story short - she agreed to temporarily take care of a kitten for another coworker while he found a new place, and he has yet to take the cat back and she can't keep him. She's giving him an ultimatum this week to find it a home or she's taking it to the shelter. I promised I would make an attempt to help her find it a good home.
So that kitty in question is a 10 month old female, likely some sort of Siamese mix (I haven't actually seen the cat to verify this...) She has not be fixed or had any shots thus far in her life. She weighs about 5 pounds which is small, but she seems healthy overall. She's litter trained and gets along well with another cat and a chihuahua at this point in the game. She has not been around children. Word on the street is that she's a good lap cat and loves to play.
I don't know for sure what the deal is with actually needing a home, but I wanted to throw this out there just in case she does end up needing one. If anyone is interested, please post or shoot me a PM and let me know a phone number to relay to the folks making the decision...
