OT: Lakers predictions

My prediction is a loss.... whoops. It is alright, Bell gets suspended and LA takes game six at home in front of deserving fans.

Lol, I have to laugh at you Lakers fans. At least Clippers fans have a reason to cheer - decades of futility and pent of frustration. Darn right we're going to cheer at every made basket, every win and even every time they show that hobbit Frankie Muniz on the Staples jumbotron. It's like the 40 year old virgin and the first time he makes it to first base...

On the other hand, you have the Lakers. Proud to point out their heritage, the championship banners and the great lakers teams of the past. Meanwhile, the team of today lost nearly half of their games, barely made into the playoffs and is beating a team with no player of significant value over 6'8". + you have to rely on all-stars Kwame Brown and Sasha Vujacic to be difference makers. Wow.

The Clippers ARE in the second round. The Lakers MAY get there, so until you close out the series, let's not get too ahead of ourselves.

I'll give the Clips their props. Very good team this year, about time they won a playoff series. BUT, they only won 2 more games than the Lakers in the regular season, so saying that the Lakers "lost nearly half of their games", is the same with the Clippers. Also they are on the verge of upsetting the 2 seed, which has a much better regular season record. The Clips on the other hand, had home court advantage against a 3 seed that had a worse record than the Lakers, and also imploded on themselves in the playoffs. Sorry, but a Lakers victory over the Suns, is much more respected than the Clips win over the Nugs. Hate to burst your bubble. I think it is pretty amazing for the Lakers to be where they are with Kwame and Sasha!

Side note, just think of how good the Clips would be if they were able to sign Kobe in the off season, scarry.

I'll give you the record, though the scuttlebutt is the Clipper tanked towards the end to secure the 6th seed (pretty obvious if you watched any of their games).

I'll give you that it's somewhat impressive that they may defeat the Suns, but folks around town with their Lakers banners suddenly propped up on their cars make it sound like this team is championship material. Hardly. Again, take it one step at a time and your business before even thinking about the Clips.

Even better if Clips get Shaq, but that aint gonna happen. I think Kobe makes a team worst off. He's probably as good as Jordan, but he's not a team player and his team suffers.

Clippers get Shaq? Have you seen how shaq has played this year?

thank goodness we got rid of his fat ***....lazy good for nothing bum... thanks for the championships, but now that you are old, your lack of offseason commitment to winning shows..

Back to Lakers. Vs Phoenix.. Raja Bell, nice clothesline on Kobe.. that isnt even allowed in football.. Nash, you dumb monkey, you think Raja's foul compares to incidental elbows and Kwame standing over Diaw? What a moron..how can anyone vote for him for MVP... the true MVP shows up for game six, Raja Bell does NOT play as he is suspended for at least 1 game..... and Lakers get back to pounding the ball in side and pounding some weak phoenix suns arses..

Lakers 98, suns 89

Bell- 25 points and outstanding defence against Kobe tonight. Bell will take over the game and be the mvp of the game........whats that........BELL ISNT PLAYING?!?! OHHHHHH yeah.............
