OT: Let's go Vandy!!!

Ok, so I might be something of a fair weather fan when it comes to Vanderbilt, but I'm incredibly jacked about this weekend's football games and it's hard not to get excited when GameDay is setup on the lawn next to your building on campus.

This year has been incredible... all of my teams are undefeated...

We have a #19 Vanderbilt (4-0) team taking on #13 Auburn (it's hard to see me, but check me out on the GameDay footage on ESPN News and SportsCenter behind the guy holding the sign that says "Dore Eagle").

Also a #6 Penn State (4-0) taking on Big Ten rival Purdue and going into their major Big Ten schedule (Wisconsin, Michigan, Ohio State).

And we cannot forget the Titans (4-0) with a big game against Baltimore.

Until this season I can't recall when all 3 of my teams have won in the same week, let alone 4 weeks in a row... woot!

Now if the Cubs would play like they want to win!! and win the next few games.

It's incredible that vandy is 4-0. I've always followed them as an afterthought, not really watching the games, but always checking the scores etc.

But I can't stop thinking about those Titans! I'm reading blogs and checking stats all during the day. It's been a while since I could revel in Titans praise, so I'm going to eat it all up while I can

Norm... never been much of a baseball fan*, but I guess I'll stick with the hometown team... let's go Phillies

...and yes.

Never thought I'd see Vanderbilt atop the SEC East (especially 4-5 weeks into the season). And the Titans had it in them all along but they needed to get the ducks in a row.

It's looking more and more like the Titans should have gone with the hometown boy (Cutler) and I'm just glad to see Collins is filling in well (not a ton of people with Collins love, but he's a Penn Stater, so I have to give him a little). I do hope Vince comes around because he does have some streaks of brilliance, but it does seem a lot of mobile QB's really struggle with the transition to the pros. I think a lot of that also has to do with overrated QB's coming out of systems where they had a line and receivers that were dominating the competition and the little errors didn't matter so much (ehhmmm...Linert...hmmm). Time will tell I guess...

They weren't necessarily really pretty wins, but I'll take 'em...

I sure hope so. We need to get Fulmer out so we can find the Bruce Pearl of football.

As a Vanderbilt fan I'm deeply troubled that this has turned into a UT thread... and I also can't sanction anyone who wears something as ugly as that suit.
