I need to put in an extra 20v Breaker. I keep overloading my current one.:mad2: Darn metal halides. LOL. Anyone out there able to do this for a reasonable price.

PM me if you can.

I have an electrician friend that I go after when I have power issue. Where are you located? He is located locally in Cerritos' area. Let me know if you are not too far away from it.

Have you consider going with 220 instead of 110 for the new breaker? I hear itââ"šÂ¬Ã¢"žÂ¢s more efficient on high wattage equipments like chillers and lighting.

Kevin thats what I mean. 220. I thought that was what 20v. Thanks for the correction. I live in Huntington Beach. I think the box is in the outside of the house. I just want to run a line into the garage. Should be fairly simple, with very little wall that needs to be run through.

hey bluestag, that cali is doing well and i've already made a couple frags.

dont you have like 5-250W?

are you also running a chiller?

double power = double amps but also watch out the existing wire if the wire is 12awg or high, can't do it.

check the existing wire, if it is 12 awg or smaller, get the CB, go to HD and ask for same type with 20Amps, then replace it. Ah don't forget to turn off the CB before removing it.

Hes going to have to run new wiring for the new breaker anyway so it shoudn't matter.
