Hey all,
I am going to start a Fantasy Football League for the upcoming season, who is interested in joining?
It will be on Yahoo! Fantasy Leagues.
We can do it just for fun if not enough interest, but I wanted to do it where we wager frags to keep it interesting. As you Fantasy vets know, sometimes, people quit midway because of lost interest, and that ruins the whole league.
My idea was:
Everyone who is interested replies to this thread with an "I'm in". (If interest starts I will make an official website with who is involved and pics of what corals are wagered to make it easy to track.)
It doesn't have to be a super rare frag, but don't be super cheap either, a cool zoa or ricordea or LPS etc frag would be cool, don't put in an all brown zoa single polyp frag, you could even put 2 or 3 options, and the winner can pick whichever ONE frag from you they want
We are all friends in the same hobby, don't be a dirtbag. In the event someone is an idiot and puts in a crappy frag (ie: plain brown zoanthid) the league can vote him out of contention, before the league begins and he will be replaced. I doubt that will happen with our community but hey, who knows who would join...
I'm going to limit it to Soft Corals, LPS, (basically things that can live in all types of light, ie: no stonys that require MH.) Why? Well because not everyone has MH's, don't want a winner to be stuck with a bunch of Stonys and PC lighting. With that said, you _CAN_ wager stony frags, HOWEVER, it must be a 2nd+ wager option, it cannot be your only option. You must wager atleast 1 soft/lps etc coral. *Note you don't loose all frags wagered, just one frag, your simply giving more options for someone to choose should they win and want a stony.
There is 16 spots in the league (possibly 20 if there is enough interest.)
There will be a LIVE Draft now tentatively scheduled for August 25th, 7:30 PM, however this can be changed.
Frags will be divided amongst the top 3 finishers, 1st getting top picks, and so on.

1st Place - 7 Frags (1st pick)
2nd Place - 5 Frags (next picks)
3rd Place - 3 Frags (last picks)
20 Player Scenario

2nd Place - 6 Frags (next picks)
3rd Place - 3 Frags (last picks)
Let me know if your interested guys and i'll start a site so we can track who is in, and frag pictures of what we're playin for!
