Nope.

In a nutshell "Shift lenses" allow you to align your depth of field with the subject.

To rotate at the nodal point for pano shots, all you need is an adjustable tripod mount.

I remember reading an article about that but just forget around which point to rotate the camera.... I believe they were speeking of a mount that you add to any tripod to make it rotate the camera around that nodal point you speak about. i htink it was for the nikon 5700. will try to locate that article and poste it.
