I'm in town for the weekend and looking for a guide for just me.
I've never fished Miami or the upper keys before and would like some recommendations.
I'm already booked offshore for Monday so would like some inshore guides.
Thanks.

125 & 79 street bridge, tarpoon & snook, better in a boat but you could actually drive and go down the cat walk (kind of dangerous)
You can also try the Biscayne bridge, dunno whats running now but usually king and spanish macarel once in a while sharks.

It depends what you want to catch, snook, reds, and tarpon or bonefish and permit.Let me know which style and I'll get you a guide recomendation. Also are you a flyfisherman or prefer spining and conventional.

It's probably too late but still looking for someone inshore Saturday otherwise I'm jumping on one of the Reward boats to kill some time. Or maybe head to the Keys and try the party boats down there.
Sunday I found Mike Urich open for the evening on the bay. Monday I'm offshore with Capt Joe M.
I only use spining gear as that is the only method I know how to cast.
As far as the bridges, I'm just wanting to know where the locals go to check them out. I don't have any gear to bring with me but would just like to see others fish and catch fish.

Found a cool site for the Key bridges but don't know where people fish the most.

Oh, I'm not sure what is running except the tarpon but still would like to catch a snook, permit, mutton, bonefish... in that order.

Enough rambling... thanks for the help!

More info on that site than I know... but still not enough... would love to have a site that shows what's normally caught there and maybe even depths and bottom types.

I know a great guide in Key West for tarpon and permit. I used him once, and he put me on 7 or 8 permit (which I spooked all but one). THe one that I did hook onto was a monster 30-35 lber on 8 lb test. I fought him for 55 minutes, and he spit the hook. My arm still hurts.

If you want to go on a partyboat for snapper, Fish City Pride can't be beat. I've caught a lot of "firsts" for me, and I've been fishing all my life!
