I got this about 2 weeks ago... it is freaking awesome!
This is the new Line 6 M13. Honestly, they absolutely nailed this product. There is no tone coloration from guitar to amp and the effects sound GREAT. This thing has over 75 effects and you can use up to 4 at one time. It has universal tap tempo, can be used with the 4 cable method (put some effects before your preamp, some after), and is built like a tank!
I had been planning on getting a Line 6 Echo Pro. I had one back in the day and absolutely LOVED it! But then I heard this thing was coming out and it has literally every single delay model from the Echo Pro, plus the Mod Pro, Filter Pro, Verbzilla, and DM4! For the same price! I was pumped to say the least!
I've got this thing running into my late 60's Selmer Treble and Bass and it just sounds AWESOME! The effects honestly sound like I have a bunch of really good pedals.
The OD and distortion effects are pretty good, but I think still prefer (and will be using) pedals as they just seem to interact with my amp better. The ODs and distortions on the M13 are DEFINITELY usable, though, and sound pretty good, I just prefer pedals.
