The black looks sleek. I bet your being responsible and didn't even open it up yet. Bet you can't wait til the engine is broken in and the roads are alittle cleaner.

yep next time out i should be able to play a little harder but i can already feel the difference big time between this bike and my old one. anyone looking to buy a 2001 kawasaki concours ?

Did I read this rite, :uzi: "Guardrail" :eek1: are you ok? How bad is the bike? What happened?
Yeah I'm fine. Downshifting on a big twin at speed requires skill that I am still acquiring
I've bought all the parts just gotta bolt it together. all cosmetic. My bike has a violent response to input. Mike's bike however, that is smooth. Perfected. Precise. Refined if you will. The definition of bullet train. It turns as if on rails. Open the throttle and your mind cannot comprehend your rate of acceleration. And I want one. Way better than reefing. Just imagine the tank he could've bought. But the bike was a better choice. Wise man there.

Nice! Me and hubby were hoping to break out the Harley this weekend but it's going to be cold and rainy. :(

Only downside of a bike is they're not good for trips to the LFS.... the noise and vibration really stresses any fish you buy.

I miss my old toy...

I sold it last time I went overseas with the military and the wife won't give me permission for another.

fixed that for ya Sue:thumbsup:
Honda goldwing owners sometimes install cupholders. And if I knew how I"d post a link to the youtube video where a guy does the goldwing nickel test. He balances a nickel on edge on his bike, starts and revs the engine halfway to redline. Nickel doesn't move.
Nice bike swannyson, ime diamonds fix situations like that.
