OT: Occupations...

LAN / WAN / Security Consultant.

Mostly doing Cisco and Microsoft stuff. Firewall, security, routing, windows, active directory, Exchange, SQL etc...
Worked in the smally company. Little pay, too much work.
A geek that is looking at the computer all day long.
Travel too much recently to Germany working on the networking stuff and DR site setup.

Anyone looking for job out in the Chino area? Entry level or someone better than then entry level. LMK.

I just had my FAT old (been with me about 1.5 years now) Mandarin Goby die... I have no idea why he died... maybe he ate himself to death. He was FAT FAT FAT. I worked really hard to keep an enourmous pod population for him as well. So it pretty much so sucked when he passed away. Sorry to hear about your loss, but I think sometimes fish just die.

Mostly SQL Server dev and admin, plus VB, VBA (custom MS Office stuff), VB.NET, ASP.NET, and pretty much any database app that lands in my land. I even know that silly weak scripting language Filemaker Pro uses,

Right now I'm the lead developer for a small dot com. "Small" meaning there's one other developer, and "lead" meaning I make sure I handle all the admin and organization and paperwork and dealing with the network idiots and the suits and the other nonsense... so that my whiz kid developer just geeks out on programming all day. :)

I just take pictures. Families mostly. Spend two days a week at the beach walking the tidepools in between appointments.

Sure glad I'm not you guys though. So anyone want to trade paychecks. :D
