Where was that you guys were getting tires online? The search isn't coming up with anything. Then where are you getting them mounted?

I too have purchase at tire rack and saved a bunch. My local mechanic shop mounted them for 10 bucks each. Check with your local mechanic. they probably will too.

i think the tire shop called andys is near you. it is also called andy worms. i know he will mount the tires reasonably.

Just because you're buying a name brand online doesn't mean you're getting the same quality you can get in a store... Be careful what you buy! Might be cheaper in the long run to buy the tires from a shop you can trust.

For ex. the name brand tires sold at Wal-Mart are cheaper than the ones sold in a shop that I buy my tires from, but they aren't made of the same rubber compound... I bet you could find the same problem with some online retailers...

Roy. Call down to plaza tire behind walgreens there on baxter/manchester...Tell them what price you're looking at online, etc...you might be suprised

FWIW I have Nitto Terra Grapplers on the truck and love them. Quiet, good traction and treadwear and good off road. I went down to Padre Island and at the 15 mile marker the sand got really soft and loose and they went right through it even with being burried to the axles in loose sand. I was highly impressed with them.

Did you happen to get the Nitto's in St Louis area? If so, where did you find a Nitto dealer?

Tirerack is a good online tire dealer. Everyone that I know who purchased tires from them have not had a problem.

WalMart, Sams, Sears and I am sure others, carry tires that are made specifically for their stores and can only be purchased through the stores.
