This is what I was thinking of what I wanted. I want to blend the different cultures (hawaiian and filipino) that I was raised in. I want to start with a half sleeve with the pinoy sun and hawaiian islands with intensions of getting a chest and back piece in the future. The chest will be like pinoy patterns (alibata) and the back, hawaiian patterns.

Much Mahalos

Sharkdude I can add to the 1st one easy but, the second one I can add real fine patterns on the sting rays so that the shark tooth patterns can make sense. The patterns on the sting rays are not done right(no offense). It's nice work but no meaning.

Please remember that you get what you pay for. When I used to work in tattoo shops I was always amazed at peoples willingness to put sub par permanent tattoos on their body rather than pay a little extra.

With that said if you are looking for good solid tribal from a reputable established artist please check out Leo Zulueta at Black Wave Tattoo. I am sure a quick google search will give you tons of info on him.

Good luck with the search for an artist. I have found my next artist....its just to bad that Horiyoshi III is all the way in Japan:confused:

My Brothers friend let my brother to tat his arm with a gun he got off of ebay. Lets just say he got what he paid for.

I wouldn't say that I have Polyneasian tattoos but 90% of my tats were done on the islands when i lived in Kauai what a beautiful place to remember via a little ink (or a lot of ink;)).

Tanu i will have to hit you up for some ink some time, getting tats is like reefing dont tell the GF :D until it too late :D
