I've noticed a few threads recently that requested to post your email in the thread (not PM) if you want the item being discussed (free frag, trades, 4sale, etc.) and just want to remind everyone that it is not best practice to post your email address in this fashion unless you feel you have excellent anti-spam software/services for that account.
There are harvester bots and other programs that search through forums and websites looking for email addresses fitting the standard email address format and the common intentional mis-types such as, johndoe_at_domain.com, etc. As the addresses are found they are updated to spam databases.
