Just wondering what is the liability of an online company if they have an item for sale on their site that is obviously mis-priced. I bought the item and I received the invoice. I also checked my credit card and they have deducted the full purchase amount including shipping. I know this is defintely mis- priced. Are they liable to send the item even though they discover the error?
Once shipped, can they come back to me and charge me for more or are they required to stick with the "advertised" price? I looked at the purcahse agreement and all over their site and could not find a disclaimer absolving them of liability due to errors and ommissions.
I prefer not to name the site at this time until I get my stuff
