I'm right there with you as I actually get decent coverage in the areas I frequent with Sprint. I think the Sprint/Nextel phones use SIM cards, but I have no idea if it'll work in an iPhone though.

iPhones use sim cards as well but I have yet to hear about someone using it on Sprint but I am sure that someone out there has done it!

If you feel that you cannot wait and want to get a 3G phone go to Best Buy and purchase a refurbished iPhone. I think the 8GB is $99 and the 16GB is $149.

There is no guarantee that a newer iPhone is being released in June, those are all rumors... Then again, they might release a new phone. As for jailbreaking an iPhone that immediately voids your warranty. People are willing to take that risk but each software update cracks it.

If you are thinking of getting an iPhone with at&t than you're looking to pay 70-100 bucks a month. That's what I pay and I hate the freakin phone. It's a cool phone don't get me wrong but I really don't like it. My company makes me have it so I have to own it. I have done the Jailbreak thing and you have to be careful if you plan on going through with it because you can brick you phone. I'm back to the stock OS now, I really wasn't diggin the Jailbreak much kills the battery when you get really into it.
