OT: RIP Rick Martin

Sabres great Rick Martin has passed away after having a heart attack while driving in Clarence today. May he rest in peace

this is the first I heard of this- thanks for making us aware.
Rick will be missed.

I never got to see Rick play in Buffalo in person, however, I was fortunate enough to see Gil Perreault play a game in the Aud.

Very sad indeed.....had the pleasure of seeing him and the rest of the "French Connection" line play against the Vancouver Canucks during their heyday in the '70's at the Coliseum. He was a great player and what a spectacular line that was.

Very touching moment of silence before the game and amazing point to the rafters by the team after the win.

Never saw him play but I can appreciate how great he was.
