Just wanted to vent.
We have been very busy at work, lots of mandartory over time. Money is great, but don't have time to do anything. and walk around in a daze most of the time. 12 and 16 hour shifts for the last couple months, six days a week. To make matters worse one of the guys at work hit a sprinkler head in the warehouse this afternoon. flooded the whole place. All the stock in the warehouse is gone. So we know what that is going to do to all this spare time I have on my hands. This really sucks, I am too old to be working 12 and 16 hous a day. 6 days a week. And I only have one more vacation day left, I was saveing that for November, kids Birthdays.
Looks like I don't get to have a life until I am dead.

I just hope with the world the way it is I can retire with my wife and enjoy life when I get older. Maybe I'm dreaming.

Well I am leaving now, I will be working from 11pm to 11 am, then back at 7pm till 7am hopfully they don't make us stay until 11am.
But the world must have their boxes. So I guess it is better than being slow.
If we made something other than boxes, the sprinkler probly wouldn't have cause so much damage. Boxes and water do not mix well. Man that is going to be a mess. I will probley get stuck cleaning is up.

What's stored in the warehouse? I'm in book publishing and if our warehouse flooded it would be disastrous!

I hope your overtime doesn't continue too much longer... The good thing about having no time is that you have no choice but to save up all that extra cash.

Sorry, too slow on the submit button. Boxes and water mix about as well as books and water. Yikes.
