I heard a spot on the radio this morning for this.
If any or all of you social-savvy SLASHers could do your thing to spread the word to all your friends/followers to help them reach their goal.
It's a heck of a gesture on their part.

If even only one ticket gets sold because of someone here sharing this, it was worth the effort.

They're trying to sell 300 tickets by the 15th, and they're only a little over halfway there. I was #169

I don't do the Social Media thing. Posting here is about as social as I get.

Yes, if they raise the money, the 30k will be for Michael Flamion, the officer shot and paralyzed during a traffic stop in July. I included the link because thought they would need it to do the social media thing
