Mostly Byron Dragway. Use to go to the grove, but there bracket race has turned into a joke. I hit up there Big $$ race toward the end of the year though.

Unfortunatly this year will be very limited racig if any. Got laid off last summer and still recovering from that, Dog just had surgery, Truck needs a trans. The list goes on and on.

Im in the same boat... Im hoping to atleast get the new shortblock done this year, hopefully might have it out again late summer, if not it will be completely done summer 2011. :beer:

Used to do the drag night @ us41 back in the day now it mostly sits in the garage but it's fun when I take it for a spine, us indiana boys used to hang at Miami subs in highland and run um in crownpoint but that was like 10 years ago, then came marriage

Run a 406 SBC. Car has run a best 8.37 @ 159

66 Is a nice track, just cant run a bracket race for crap. There payout isnt the greatest either. Would like to go there but there way too strick. Car is NHRA certified but im not. Only carry an IHRA license. They wont let you run there as far as I know. I havemnt heard any good things about there bracket race program. Maybe Im wrong

You should run Byron, Awsume track, always hooks, and payout beats anything around. Every SS race Sat $2500/win Sun $5000/win

I have been to Byron. We run 620 BBC. Car runs 7.30. Your right about some of the races at 66. The regular bracket races are ok but races like super chevy are crazy.

I heard it was a disagreement with managment of rt66 and the Super chevy show owners. Something like Rt66 was being stubborn or something. Leave it to track managment to screw up a good thing. Super chevy was one thig I wanted to do one of these years but always falls on a Byron race.
