OT - Sunset on another world

Hi again Doug, a quick question:

Do you find that the reverse 3 stop is long (tall) enough that you have options for the horizon (especially when shooting in a portrait format). So for example, your first shot posted has the horizon about 1/3 down (or 2/3 up) the frame, but how far away is the border of the filter from the bottom of the lens? Let's say I am expecting to use this on a lens between 52 and 77mm.

It's plenty long enough. You do have to use care to keep your fingers out of the frame however. :)

Yea, I have a Cokin filter holder, works like a charm.
