Here is the journal of my 210 that I changed from REEF to PLANTED

BonesCJ's 210

all I can say is so far the maintenance is sooooo much easier and less stressful, I can do a water change in 30 minutes flat!

I hope you keep posting to let us know how it's going. You make freshwater look pretty good. Good luck - btw beautiful drift wood.

Not to worry I will, I also figure within a year or two I will have another saltwater tank in my house, just something alot smaller and easier to take care of. I kept some of my equipment like my protein skimmer to help with that.

In regards to stocking its going to be all little fish with only a couple larger ones. Right now I have a couple White cloud Mountain minnows, 20 neon tetras, 15 harlequin rasboras, 10 otos, 1 rubber lipped pleco and 2 pearl gouramis. We plan to add a school of glolight tetras, 6 cori cats, 1 rainbow shark and 8 red eye tetras.

Very nice! I find that splitting my time between my marine and planted tanks is quite the task. But I enjoy both so much for the different things that they offer.

That is a beast of a tank and it is looking great so far.

Thanks to everyone for their support, the tank has been up running for about a month now and the reduction in stress has made life so much better for me. This really lets me enjoy my tank again. I will keep updating as I post fresh pictues and information.
