I'm going to be in Rochester for most of the day Sunday and I'm looking for some suggestions on things to do/see (non-reefing). Any good hiking up there? Good restaurants? Comedy clubs? I'm up for just about anything, so let the suggestions fly.

TIA.

Charlotte Pier nice flat walk. Durand park decent hiking. Cobbs hill park trails on the eastern side also called Washington grove. Turning point park is nice and serene walk over the river. High falls area is ok. Lower falls is a hell of a hike if you want a awesome up close view of water falls. Cool man made cave there too. Entrance is located at maple wood rose garden on corner of driving park and lake ave north west quad. Fun but not a safe hike. Wear good hiking shoes or boots. I live in Webster and go to Webster park frequently. Nice calm place on lake Ontario. 1000 acre swamp is cool. Highland park is beautiful. Kent park arboretum is a great place to see many different species of trees and flowers. Walking the canal in Pittsford is nice. Gotta park on Scheon place. Watch out for bears. lol That all i can think of for now. Im sure i could come up wiith a list twice this size if i had the time.

+1 on arthur shawcross dead hooker trail:uzi: just bring a weapon. elison park has a great disc golf course(free) and an unoffical dog park. i'll bet a hundred dogs might be there on sunday.

good question.

I believe the Abbot's down there is still operating. (There was snow on the ground last time I was down there.)
The beach area should be in full swing for the holiday. (Carousel, boaters, picnickers etc.)

That Abbot's is still open. I like the Seneca Park Zoo. If you're into photography you can enter their photo contest as well.

Abott's on the beach is OPEN OPEN OPEN. it's seasonal....and the pier this weekend should be FAB! Go!
