OT - Time to get a new van

Hyrid vehicles normally cost from 5-10k more then gasoline. 20-30% difference is a lot of money, from where we normally bargain down and try to save a few hundred from the dealer. Does it really worth to buy a Hyrid now?

:D just pick up the van today. I went with the Honda Odyssey EX-L w/ DVD and NAV. Great car. Can hardly wait to take it to LA .. :D

Good choice.

Hope you were able to pay cash.

Best of luck,

Roy

I believe there is a Highlander and a Mariner hybrid.

Personally I drive a Subaru Forester. Only an inch smaller than the Outback, gets about 26 mpg, better visibility, and agile in traffic. We've many times made trips where cars upside down in the ditch number about a dozen, and we just keep rolling along. The winter traction package is a good one up here: also works on wet. Wheel slip gives power to wheels with traction. I don't want to trade until Subaru comes out with their hybrid. I've driven this breed of beast since 2000, and won't have anything else.

I don't care what anyone says. It's still a freakin' Chrysler:lol:

I supposed you don't own one eh? Name a chrysler that have dual spark plugs per cylinder?

This Merc seems to have turned into a dud in my area. Merc lost a lot of soccer mom's with the unreliable ML (many of them switched to other brands, mostly the Odyssey). This one looks too much like a Pacifica. Probably for the above reasons, I've only seen one or two of them in my area.

Best of luck,

Roy

My 5.7L magnum does. As did my C43, but that was pre-chrylser.

We bought my wife a 2005 Acura MDX. I love this car to death! This thing is deceivingly roomy, and is just a joy to drive. It has a 3rd row of seating and is a really reliable car. We also paid $1800 below invoice on it last June. I bet you can get a similar deal now as the new body style is scheduled to come out next year.

I want the MDX since it came out. Cost too much for me. Can't afford it :( .. I bought a camry se last year for myself. The van is for my wife and the kids.

:D Love the Pinto :D
