Ok, so that's my corny name for my the photo album of pics I took & uploaded of the ice storm results around my home in Ardmore. Nothing horribly disastrous, but much very pretty. I was so happy with the way some of my pics turned out that I thought I ought to share. Enjoy!

Anyone else take some pretty pics of our strange wintery landscape? I'd love to see them!!!

Ice storms are so beautiful but thank goodness we didn't get that here in OKC. Some great shots there Paul.

Yeah, those were my favorite. Also, they are a good example of a little photoshopping.

I did a lot of basic contast balancing (increase of contrast, makes a picture "pop" out more). And then on the one with the red berries, I carefully tweaked them a tad so the red of the berries would be a little more prominent.

I'll have to play some more those red berried shots would probably be nice with the whole picture converted to black & white, except for the red berries.... :)

Fun fun!!!

(and I hope I didn't ruin the magic for anyone by revealing a photographers secrets.... I guess I'll have to include those tips in the presentation I am giving later in the year on photography...)

Cool pictures!

I got bored the other day so I figured I'd venture out and get some cool pictures of my jeep and such. I am in Kansas at college so the landscape is different then what we are all used to!

Thanks, yeah, so deadly.... Anyone know anyone having any trouble?

My oldests daughters friend lost her father a couple of days ago. He died in a head on when the other driver crossed the centerline. Devoted father of 2, husband and family man.

Just because the road looks clear, doesn't mean it is. The term "black ice" comes to mind.

After that,
Good pics Paul. Nothing like winter shots.

That's terrible. I hate to hear that...

Great pics, Paul. You should photograph for Birds and Blooms :) You love doing it. You could even be the guy that hides the acorn!!

i am getting a gas generator this spring...too much risk in Oklahoma with power outage...yuck...luckily we escaped this year in OKC...hope things are well for the rest of the guys in the other parts of the state

Some of Vinita lost water and most of the smaller towns around me lost power and water (the water treatment plant had a pump go out and that was after they lost power from the ice) for a several days.

However, we were fortunate that our only loss was a little water pressure.
