OT: What does your screen name mean?

Mine turns 10 on August 3rd and he weighs 130 these days after a bit of a diet

Mark is derived from the Roman god Mars, god of war, and this was the first name chosen by my parents. Fanara is my last name, it is Sicilian in origin.

I'm part Italian -way back in the 70's the polish and Italian jokes were flying. My English teacher was Polish so we would kid each other all the time. He nicknamed me pola short for polish and polar as my last name is baer - german spelling for Bear (I guess)

Parkavenuereef = I drive a Buick Park Avenue + I am obsessed with reefs... So Parkavenuereef! However, I am sad to say I traded my Parkavenue in for a Brand New ChEvY Cobalt LT!! So the name is half valid now...
As beatiful as he looks, his personality is even better. You will never find a calmer more friendly dog. I have two kids, 3 and 9 months, and as big as he is, he is still incredibly gentle and patient with the youngins and their friends.
Another thing about Berners is they were bread to work on farms and busy markets so they tend to be fairly obedient even with a lot of distractions such as crowds or other animals. The difference between him and any other dog I have owned in that regard is striking, and I have met other BMD owners who have said the same thing. On the down side, he will lay outside and watch the deer eat my garden without even the slightest twitch to scare them away

Since the start of my relationship w/ my wife(anne) I got intro'd to ferrets-I used to be lizardman having owned 2 lizards @ the time. But changed to alphaferret-
ferrets can sense fear and I had some until I realized I could be the alphaferret-
ruler of all ferrets

I used to use just Waffleman, but the name was already taken. So I put the obvious in front of it.
