With all the Dotors here in the frag family. Any one recommend a good Lasik eye surgery dr here in the valley?

I have promised the wife she can get it done once we were done having kids. Well she is on the last stretch of the 4th pregnancy.


So we are now on the hunt for the best.

Everyone getting Lasik now will just be wearing AR glasses like Google Glass in 5 years anyway (my opinion)

I got mine done at Barnet-Dulany and they were great. Mine was completed about 7 years ago now and I stand by that it is still the best money I have ever spent.

check out Swagel and Wooten in Mesa. I have a lot of family in the medical field, and word is that they're the best. I have been wanting to do it for years, but things keep getting in the way...I should just bite the bullet...

Lasik is pretty sweet. I had mine done over ten years ago when it was relatively new. I got mine done in Windsor, Ontario - Canada so don't know anyone local. In my experience my vision with glasses was slightly better. I was also told that no matter what with age reading glasses would be needed eventually. The pretty colors you see when your eyeballs get fried are amazing like an acid flashback.

I got mine done at Barnet Dulany Perkins in 2004 and I couldn't be happier. It is a very "assembly line" kind of procedure and I can't say anything special about the customer service or people there, but they did a fabulous job with my eyes and I have better than 20/20 vision even now years later.

After a lot of research I went with Schwartz- I just had it done 6 weeks ago, and I couldn't be happier. I went from 20/600 to 20/10. I have had absolutely zero issues with night halos or dryness. I definitely recommend getting the intralase procedure, which costs a little more but is a more precise and newer technology. Also, one of the great things about Schwartz is that in the unlikely event that you should need an adjustment within the first 2 years, it's free. After that, it's only $375 per eye for life. My only regret, as others who have had successful procedures will agree with, is not getting it done sooner.
