OT: WoW.. who plays?

Who plays WoW and what server are you on?

Prior to my old account getting banned I was playing on the Khadgar server as a Horde undead Rogue

But now I play on the Whisperwind server as an Alliance Night Elf Hunter.

I need to get into WoW, i finally quit Ultima Online this year been going off and on since 99, my buddy and i started playing D2 again in anticipation of D3 coming out tho. I just feel like the barrier of entry into WoW may be to great to overcome.

I've played just about every MMO out there.. OU, EQ1, EQ2, WoW, SWG, ect... I like WoW and I have fun playing it. I think you should give it a try, you can download it for free and try it for 10days so what do you have to loose?

If you do decide to give it a try and want to create a Char on the server I'm on send me a PM here and I'll try to help you out.

Warcraft is soooo addicting....I also laugh so hard at the WoW south park because it is very very true....people actually act like that. I gained all kinds of weight playing it literally non stop (9 hours a day and all day on weekends). I had 2 warlocks both level 70 (undead on blackrock and alliance gnome on Kargath)..once I moved into amish country I found out that high speed internet except for satellite internet was not available out here. Satellite internet sucks really bad because I would ping ~2300 on any server all the time given the 40,000 miles the signal had to travel. Needless to say pvp, raiding, and everything else was not possible.

I played EQ1 many years, it will always be my favorite game. I came back to play the progression server, ironicly I quit the progression server at the same expansion that I quit before... very odd. I left with a Level 60 DE Rogue, the first time around I had a level 60 Chanter.

I'm playing Lord of the Ring Online now...gave up on WOW about a year ago. Have 3 lvl 70 characters and no time to raid so there wasn't much to do. I'm on Kargath.

There is a new MMO coming out in January...Pirates of the Burning Seas. You can be French, English, Spanish or Pirate and it's trading/fighting/questing in the Carribean. I'm giving that one a try.

I agree USAquatics...I am completely lost!

Guess not having children and never being into computer games has really left me "online gaming" deficient!

Sounds like it could be fun though…just what I need…another hobby that takes all my time! LOL!
