Prior to my old account getting banned I was playing on the Khadgar server as a Horde undead Rogue
I paid real money for in game money, which I've done lots of times with different games and even with WoW. But in this case the in game money that I got was created by exploiting a bug in the game. So the lesson is don't buy gold from hackers.
I used to waste many many hours on Team Fortress which was a mod of Half-life online. It is a "capture the flag" type game that had a lot of action. I have been thinking about buying the game for TF2 lately but it literally sucked the life from me so I think I will avoid all online gaming for now

This is exactly why I quit playing PvP games. I'm not a good move and shoot person. Even in PvP in WoW I'm not all that great, I always end up with more deaths than kills. I always end up getting ganked in the back by some rogue... /sigh.
But there is nothing like going crazy in CS and killing everyone on the opfor in a round, such a satisfying feeling, im not sure I could ever give it completely up, not CS, i havn't played since college, but america's army, or PVP in any mmo.
