OT: WTB Cingular 6682

Hey everyone, first, I apologize for the off topic post, but thought since this is a local group, maybe someone could hook me up.

My 2 year old phone is really starting to **** me off with the bad reception and dropped calls. I did a little research and came across the Nokia 6682 from Cingular, and I've been trying to get one, except it seems they quit selling these a few months ago.

So I wanted to ask....anyone in the area happen to have an old one in good condition that they'd want to sell?

Amheck, just some info on the phone, its really nice and all but I hear alot of negative stuff on the memory card that it comes with, you might have to upgrade it when u get it. Im going to check with a freind to see if he has any, will keep you updated.

cool, not a problem. Yeah, checked tampatrib, sptimes.com and angieslist. It's not a HUGE deal. I mean....it's only a phone. Just have heard such good thing about this model and I really wanted to check it out.

Can you remove the sim card? If so you can use any cingular phone or find an unlocked phone on ebay......

yeah, that was my first thought. But man.....they're still going for $200 on ebay. Although I really want the phone, I just have a hard time paying that for a discontinued phone. the new Nokia e62 I can even get for $150.

I was just hoping maybe someone had one lying around, maybe with a scratch or something, that they weren't using, and I could throw them some cash or a gift cert to FOAIS and we'd call it a day.
