Other hobbies

Photography is a pretty good $$ drain, as is Backpacking, as is Golf, But reef still takes the most money.

however photography will catch up quickly when I buy my 5D mark II :C)

edit--I better be able to talk my wife into taking the 30D... or I will be a sad sad boy :c).

Making Corn fed Dsms turn 10's 1/4 ;)

and

Making the guy that spend 80k on his porsche go home and hate himself.

1628mna - this was 15 years ago or so at 148, but my dead was around 450#, and the squat was 375# or so. Squatting's never been a strong point for me, and again, this was natural. I've always wanted to do a meet and even trained for one, but the guys I was working out with dropped off one at a time until I was the only one left. You can't train for a power meet by yourself.

I've worked out at every gym around here, but am currently at World's in Sheffield Lake right now. I miss some of the old gyms. Miller's Gym (downtown Lorain), Club Olympia (Westlake), Pumping Iron, the Elyria Scandanavian, Elyria Barbell Club, Riveredge, American Fitness...... I think my all time favorite gym was Pumping Iron in South Lorain back in the late 80's.

Do you know Tim Judge?

I think I feel a flexathon coming to our X-mas party:p Well here is some fuel for the fire, my grandma could lift more than that:D Make sure u guys wear ur tank tops.I'll bring mine.

that name sounds so familiar, maybe the next time i get punched in the nose or hit in the head ill remember it. lol i first started to work out at the scandalnavian in elyria about 18 years ago,god am i getting old. the best gym i worked out at was blacks gym on lorain and 120th. HARDCORE AND SMELT LIKE IT TOO also a real good gym actually when they were coaching tyson to bite the ear off of holyfield was giachettis gym over by the zoo and they were also over off of denison and lorain. when i was a weight of 220 i benched max 505 and reped 485 3 times. squated 550 and deadlifted 610. i also used to do a leg press of a 1000 also i ezbar curled 200 pounds. the leg press still hurts talking about it. and thats not why my knee pops out when im walking down hill either. lol dont worry that name will come to me!

i collect music, i have over 1500 cds and i build model cars. i put plug wires and fuel lines and stuff on them and used to enter them in contests till the kids needed more of my time. now i still build but havent competed in years. heres a few pics

Pretty cool budman. I noticed the hood pins and lanyards on the front of the Monte. Serious detail.

Wow thats a lot of detail for a small cars ,nice.I have a ford windstar,u think something like that will interest u?It needs a lot of detail work on the outside and under the hood, lol

those are 1/24 scale. i have a 1/12 scale 1967 Vette with handmade hose clamps, alternater wiring, sound insulation with properly placed rivets. even the oil dipstick comes out and has oil on it.

My biggest one is RC planes. I golf a little and used to ride a little, but I sold my bike this spring. After getting into this hobby, I noticed that there`s not much $ left over for much else.

Let's see I think I dabble in 3 of the most expensive hobbies outside of realestate and cars. I do a bit in photography and I just got started flying RC helicopters and have been eyeballing planes. We shall see where that goes.
