Have just got my tank set up. After cleaning the glass I sustained my first hobby-related injury - got the fingerpad of one of my fingers nipped between the two halves of my algae scraping magnet - which is a pretty heavy duty one as my glass is 1cm thick. As one hand was out of action I couldn't prise it off and had to shout for my husband to come and help. It left a nasty bruise.
I almost feel like a proper reefer now that I have been injured in action!

LOL i had an incident last night with a snail, i was moving rocks around and noticed a snail has decieded to latch onto my finger. Little bugger would not come off, i pulled on him and it looked like i was abotu to tear him in half and he was pulling the skin on my finger. Had to wait for him to deciede the rock my hand was on looked better then my hand.

Wait until you get your first hospital required burn injury........ Let's just say it smelled like I was cooking bacon on my lights.....

But from what I've heard, chicks dig scars...... =?)

Every time I put my hand in my tank, my female Sebae Anemone Fish takes a nip at me to see how good I taste. After all this time, you would think I'd be used to it. The little bugger still scrares the crap out of when she nips!

:eek1:

i was trying to snap locline together in my small pico 5 gallon, and slipped and slammed my hand into the edge of the unrounded part of the acrylic, got a huge gash that's turned into a scar.
