Ouick clam question

Just got a crocea clam had it for two days how long should it take before it fully opens.

When I got my clams they never completely closed on the way home from my LFS. They fully opened about 10 minutes after I put it in the tank, on two different occasions.

I guess it depends on how stressed it was from where ever it was shipped from.

its open about half way and seems to look fine anything to worry about

I don't think you should worry. But I would feed some DTs or some other type of phytoplankton.

Your water parameters may be different than the LFS and may take a few days to adjust.

I would agree with both Israelnajar and WayneY; I think it depends on how stressed it was at the LFS/shipping and how well you acclimate before putting it in the tank...similar to the reaction of certain corals. Just my .02 though! Got any pictures?
