Our 150g Mixed Reef.. :)

Reef1589

Anemones for life
So ive showed off my 65g shallow tank quite enough, figure i would show off mine and my brothers 150g tank, powered by 2 400w MH's with a LeD Strip..=]

idk if you guys remember awhile back that carbon recall post i made, and how i said that our 75g Crashed, and that Kent Marine actually wrote us a check for the damages that happened... (pretty much killing everything in our 75g) well this is the result, we replaced the 75g with a 150g Acrylic Tank, Custom Made Stand/Canopy.. this just shows that even when a disaster strikes, you can always bounce back with a little help from friends =]

this is what the tank looks like now =] its bout 4-5 months old and not looking to bad imo, But let me know what you guys think!

imo they handled the situation very well, it wasnt as much as you may think, but it did help with the recovery process a little bit :P

where did you get this coral from
7-4.jpg

its a pagoda cup, it grown adecent amount since we first got it, one of the few things to survive the tank crash, bought it from petland in rockford... i think its a fairly easy coral to get ahold of

i had one as a hitchhicker on some live rock and sold it on here i thought that might have been it. grew it from one polyp and it was about your size haha. great tank.
