Hey guys great meeting tonight. I have to give a big thank you too a few members of the Club. Ken you rock The corals you gave me look awsome. Owen you are the man. How many places do you find some one that you have loan you a $800 chiller. Owen you dont even know me and you let me borrow it. You my friend are a true reefer. And I owe you big time. This is not the first time people have come thrugh for other people when in reef need. Bob thanks for the drinks after the meeting you were right the bar was calling us. Anyway I know I am rambeling on but it sure is cool to be part of a group of people that help each other out. Tell next time when it will be bbg time THIS CLUB ROCKS!

I agree Dale our club is working well with people sharing and helping each other. Jake put on a good fragging demo. Jason had his sweet frag racks. There was a very positive and energetic feel.

No problem! I am new at this and early on found out by mistake it really sucks when you don't have a chiller and you need one. My tank hit 91 last year and I had to use all the ice in my freezer and ziplock to bring my tank down enough to go buy a new chiller (cheap, loud, impulse buy hydrofarm) for $600. I wish I was smart enough to have been in the club back then and have someone loan me a chiller so I could have done my research and got it right...

So you see I have been there before I know how it is and I am just glad I could contribute something useful to this wonderful club and its members. I must say I have only been to two meets and this club is full of the best people. I can't say enough thank you's to those that have put in the energy to keep something like this alive. I know some of you and I am sure I will meet the rest soon. Jake, Josh, and Bob thank you so much for your hospitality and company... Now I am rambling...

Hey guys I agree!

Imagine my wife's surprise when after bringing my 3 frags from Ken inside I made a return trip to my car to get the others from the raffle and frag swap. I must have looked like a kid on Xmas day as I brought my haul inside. Then she looked at me a little more strangely as I let her know with a smile on my face that I would be up till about 1 am dripping and dipping my new babies. My one solace was knowing that Shane would be across town doing the same.

Today I can't wait as my light doesn't come on till 12:30 but I can see all the new guys opening and getting ready for the day.

I hope that everyone gets to feel like this at least once a meeting(although BoB more than others) as thanks to Jake and others our raffles and swaps have been great.

p.s. Dale don't be to hard on yourself as you have always been there for others as well offering advice, frags and even enemies( I mean anenomes).

me too got lots of good looking corals from ken and yes i was up till 1:30 am with the coral process. But i have a sad mistake, i forgot one in the car and remembered it the next morning. I don't know if it is gonna make it..so sad it has almost sheld all its color. I feel so bad for the little guy...i hope he pull through.

Doh! Don't worry, I probably have more of whatever it was. If nothing else you've got a good "self inflicted accidental kill" story.

Late night coral husbandry seem fraught with peril. My best is falling alseep while iodine dipping a piece, only to wake up to a fleshless skeleton hours later. I still kick myself over that. While laughing.

it was one of the small branch frags, i think it was purple. I'm just happy it was not one of the big ones you gave me i would have been so sad. It may come back it has some color (purpleish) but some parts are bleached and it was shedding for about 3 hours after i dripped it....=( everything else is doing great and they love my new wave box i got hooked up.

Thanks for the pump. It appears to be working so far. I will test for the next few days and let you know. I can't thank you enough for the frags. I will remember you when these all grow out. I just can't believe the difference that made after I put them all in my tank. You are awesome THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!
