Our First Fish!!

I'm too excited and had to post. We finally got our first official fish. We "accidentally" got a Chromis last week, but these two are our first official, intentional fish.

How the heck do you guys get nice sharp pics of your fish? I've got a Canon A80 digital camera.

I'm SO excited!!!!!!:D

Well...towards the end of our cycle, we got two Turbo snails. One was huge. Almost 3". I was told it would probably starve in our tank. So, after a while, I gave him to a friend from work that has a 150 gal tank.
When I was there to drop off the snail, I was checking out his tank. I noticed the single Chromis he had and mentioned how I love the Chromis and would like to get one. He said he'd been trying to catch him, "Bullet", for over five years, and if he ever managed to catch him, he'd give him to me. I said, "really, he's just sitting there, how hard could it be?? So, he sticks a net in the tank, Bullet darts to the left and goes right over top of his anemone into the corner of the tank. Now, I guess, Bullet doesn't want to pass by the anemone again and just freezes in the corner. My friend is yelling, "give me another net!" and scoops him up.
I didn't intend to add a fish to my tank yet, but after he and his wife were dancing around and congratulating themselves for finally catching him, I couldn't very well tell him I wouldn't take him. So, Bullet, the Chromis became our first "accidental" fish.
My friend's tank is five years old. The first fish he added were six Chromis. Bullet is the only one still surviving.
And that's our "accidental" fish story.

He's a little shy, but they'd moved on to more aggressive triggers, angels, etc. so I think he's loving it now in my tank and came out of his little hidey-hole after a half hour or so to meet and swim with my two new clowns.

Thanks FishMachine!
I tried a couple times to get nice clear pictures, but couldn't do it. I'm just thrilled to finally be ready to get some fish in our tank.

Nice clowns, how long has your tank been going? I just got a 12gal and bought my first clowns
