And here is the flower anemone we got with our part 2 shipment. It decided recently to show itself a little. :p

I love those shrimp, but between Hawkeye, Harley, Clifford and Neo, they wouldn't last 24 hours in our tank :(

Nice pics Pat!

I think I noticed some color coming back in one of my corals last night. I wonder if my lights were the problem since 2 of them are out.

Those shrimp only stay in that one area of the tank. The baby has grown considerably since I bought it. I'd say it's at least doubled in size, but still isn't as large as the original one yet.

What do you mean Dennis.......now that you have "less" light, things are coloring up? You didn't replace the lights that are out?

Our bulbs are scheduled to be delivered on the 6th. Bob is going to have to take down the lights in order to remove the acrylic shield so he can put the new bulbs in....so it's kind of silly to do it now and then again in a couple of days. Especially since we'll be replacing all 6 bulbs.
That Tec hood is heavy!

I am kind of happy though, because I'll be able to place the bulbs in a different order that they're currenty in, and I think I'll like the color combination better.

Yes, I really like the camera a lot. I wish I was able to read the manual and really know how to work it. I don't know anything about F stop and ISO and all that stuff. I'm sure if I did, I could take much better pictures.
I just kind of wing it now.

Dennis.....how about some pictures from you?

Heck, how about some pictures from everyone? :)
I think I am going to have to go to Bob's house and take a bunch of his tanks. I am kind of embarrassed always showing the same pictures over and over again.

We're going to Florida in a few months, and are planning to visit Sally. Hopefully we'll be able to get tons of nice pictures of their tank...and we'll be able to see new pictures.

That is what it looks like. I haven't replaced the lights yet. Maybe its just too much light for those corals.

I also lost another turkey wing the other day. It just dropped off and was laying on the bottom.

I would post some pics if I had some new ones to post.

I like the picture also. I need more blue in my tank. Currently I have:

1 50/50 96W PC
1 actinic blue 96W PC
1 10K daylight PC

I think I will replace the 50/50 with a single actinic 96 W and that should put more blue into the tank, or I will replace the 10K with a 50/50. Not sure yet!

I have 2 false percs, 1 coral beauty and 3 blue chromis. I also have 1 emarld crab, 1 decorater crab and trochus snails. I put in a fighting conch last night.
My tank isn't really that blue in person. At least I don't think so.

It looks like this is pic day so I will comply and post some pics from today!!

pat, anytime, and then we'll go to pw and spend more money!

Then we should seriously set up a day. :)

DW....nice pictures. Can you please get one of my favorite Christmas Tree Worm? Is that yellow tang in QT? Is it new? I don't know if it's just a bad picture or what, but it kind of doesn't look too healthy.

Peggy, what a nice picture. Is that tank glass or acrylic? I know what you mean about it not being that blue. When I had my tank, depending what lights I had on, some pictures would look just as blue as the picture you just showed, yet in person it didn't look that blue.

When the worm comes out I will get a pic or two, he has been hiding the last day or two.

The tang is in the 75 gallon and he is actually quite healthy. I took those pics early this morning after the lights came on and he turns bone white during the night and yellows up through the day.

Okay, that's why then. Glad to hear it. :) :p

I thought I'd post a few pictures tonight, since I haven't posted any for a while....

Baby pistol I just recently found in my tank:

Can anyone tell me what the thin white strings (behind the claws)are in this picture? They come out of a small tube in my sandbed, I have them in a couple spots:
