Semi Illegal.....
as the state also allows anything that grows on aquacultured live rock to be kept....we made sure of that provision many, many years ago.

This is what the pump looked like on the inside:
It's all rusted out on the inside. I don't think that should happen in 6 months time.
It's back together running on the tank again, but it's making noise.
I think I better shoot off an email to Greg at Reef Geek and see what he says.
Those urchins are much nicer looking than the ones we've all gotten from the gulf.

I think I'm going to sell my tank. I'm just getting tired of worrying about it all the time. The pump is going for sure. It's making noise a lot now. I don't want to have to buy another one of the same brand. If this only lasted 6 months, it makes me leery to get it again. If I get another brand, then there's all that plumbing junk that would need to be done.
I'm just not into plumbing.
I always worry about a power failure and the sump overflowing. Since I put the heater in it, I am having to add water more often than I did in the summer. I put water in 2-3x a day. It doesn't leave any room to be able to go out anywhere.
I'm going to talk to Bob in the morning and see what we can come up with.

I don't mind spending the time with the tank. The worries are just taking the enjoyment out of it....and I worry about a flood.
With the TBS tank, the sumps volume can handle a power outtage with room to spare. If we were to go out for an entire day, there is no problem making sure there's enough water in there to compensate for evaporation. I don't have that luxury with my tank and be 100% worry free.
I've got to see what I can sell this stuff for. You always loose your shirt selling equipment.

Yes, it is!! BUT....it's the same size the other one was when I got it in August. So look at how quickly they grow.
Here's another picture I took last night with the moonlights on. A tripod is needed for sure. But look how the orange flower anemone floresces. (sp?)
