wahoo, two more crabbys down due to Ronco's Spear of DestinyÃ"šÃ‚®

Two crabbys got stuck in their holes after spearing. Hope that doesn't cause too big of a problem. I found it hilarious to see two snails 'race' to a hole to get in there after I nailed one.

EDIT: Ammonia is still fine this AM after spearing them last night.

When I kill crabs I just leave them in the tank. Gives everyone a snack!

I finally got a fairly clear picture of something I hadn't been able to before.

Can someone tell me what this is?

It's a little longer then a pencil eraser.

It looks like some type of pod. I'm not good with ID'ing exact species of things.

If he tells me its a cirolanid isopod I'll begin drinking early on this three day weekend.

I reviewed several pictures, but I was still concerned that a baby CI would be somewhat different. Glad to know it isn't.

Baby Cirolanids look like miniature versions of the adults. Here is my picture from my article:

You can see two babies in there and the "adult". Their eyes might be a little bigger relative to their body, but the shape of the body is the same.

Your picture is a little hard to tell, but I think it looks like a beneficial amphipod to me.

I also received a flower anenome. Should it be placed in a certain area, or will it find a place it likes by itself?

John, you can put the flower anemone anywhere you like, but if it doesn't like that place, it will move around until it finds something it likes.

I really found it weird that they do that when I first received my first half. One of the two curly ques was gone one morning and I was freaking out until I found it a half hour later much futher away from where it originally had been.

Even still, I'd love to see one move.
